I was shocked to find out I didn't even know my own love language..what the? My primary love language is physical touch followed very closely by quality time. I really would have put physical touch at least at number three- a big eye opener for me!!
For those of you who know my husband you will not be surprised to hear that when I asked him to take the 30 question quiz he informed me that he has no love language! Sometimes he is quite a delight:) After some detective work on my part I am almost certain that his primary language is acts of service. The book tells you ways to find out other people's love languages without them taking the quiz. Ken will be taking this quiz on our next date night as I will have him trapped at a resturant so I will know if I am correct. I NEED TO KNOW!!
I have to say at first I was a bit peeved that all Ken has to do is sit on the couch with me and hold my hand while I need to do actual things to speak his love language... can you say so NOT FAIR!! Anyway, after my little experiment of fixing his plate for dinner, buttering his bread, and refilling his water imagine my surprise to find him sitting with me on the couch while holding my hand most of the night- my acts of service worked and my bucket was filled up- happy times!!
I love friends who know exactly what I need even when I don't!
